The Company was built from a solid foundation and its “good business ethics” of policy, knowledge base, commitment and loyalty has seen the Company grow strongly and diversify into many rewarding areas.
Aus-slab International was primarily set up as a wholesale exporter of “Rare & Exotic Australian Timbers” however has branched into custom milling, brokerage, training, consultancy and designer furniture. The company has been involved in Sandalwood supply for the past 5 years. This remarkable, scarce and precious commodity is highly sought after throughout the world. In the last 10 years sandalwood prices have sky-rocketed by up to 2000% and are still climbing.
The demand for “high quality” sandalwood is more than ever before which is why Aus-slab International has expanded and invested much of its capital into infrastructure related to harvesting, processing and marketing of sandalwood. The company has secured long term supply agreements for sandalwood and is now in a very strong trading position.
Sandalwood is offered for sale on a purchase or speculative basis so as to guarantee supply and lock in the price of the product over long term agreements with our clients.
The company has no set price for sandalwood. It negotiates trade agreements directly with its clients on a one to one basis. There are no agents or middle men. Each agreement or contract is based on the client's wants and needs. This ensures that our clients receive a first class product backed by first class personalised service.
